I started Zumba last March with little to no expectations. When I started, I would stand in the back of class and give out very easily because of the extra weight. I was also taking a daily medication for high blood pressure and had pre-diabetic blood sugar levels. I am happy to report that after almost 1 year of shaking it up in ZUMBA class, I have lost over 45 pounds and my energy levels are through the roof. I stand in the front of the class now. My doctor took me off the blood pressure medication and my blood sugar levels are back to normal. I tell everyone I know who struggles with their weight to give ZUMBA a try. I have never felt so good about myself. Although ZUMBA is challenging, you forget you're exercising. The dancing is so sexy and fun!
